A large wood reclining boar

A large wood reclining boar, resting with a satisfied expression. Two short tusks curl up the sides of its plump cheeks. The eyes are inlaid in brass with black pupils and the lashes and whiskers are defined with short spaced strokes.
The hairwork and modelling of the body is strong and rustic, typical of Minko’s bold style.

Signed on the rear limbs: Rokujunisai Minko (Minko at the age of 62)
