Unsigned lacquer kogo

A lacquer kogo with design of a pontoon bridge over moored boats, a homage to the renowned writing box by Honami Koetsu in the collection of the Tokyo National Museum, The design is overlaid with the characters of a verse by the 10th century poet, Minamoto Hitoshi:

On Azuma road,
Crossing the boat bridge of Sano
Crossing my mind
Thoughts that no-one knows

The cursive script is in a type of ashide created by building up a takamakie from powdered metals.
