Unsigned Sagemono
Set against a roiro ground, and applied in worn gilt-metal, Shoki looks up to his left in apparent annoyance, one foot raised. Thick rolling clouds in gold takamaki-e swirl around to the reverse of the inro, where a gilt inlaid oni makes his escape, glancing back at his would-be captor. Beneath him waves crash against jutting rocks that are detailed with gold kirikane.
