A rosewood yatate in the form of a long-legged foreigner. He reclines on one side, resting on his elbow, his broad face illuminated with a jovial expression. Richly curling hair sweeps down from around his otherwise-balding pate, almost seeming to form a cape around his shoulders.
His legs are crossed languorously and he rests his hand against his abdomen. The head lifts to reveal the concealed inkwell and the body is hollowed to accommodate a brush. The himotoshi is formed by the tie securing his sarong.
