Nine Tailed Fox, Sui(?)sen

Nine tailed fox wooden netsuke

The 9-tailed fox illusionist, Tamamo-no-Mae, lowers her head in a coy pose as she peers from behind a large folding fan. The fan almost entirely shields her true fox form from view, were it not for the plump ends of her nine tails that appear to her side.
