Maeyama Koshin - rattan musozutsu-style pipecase

A woven rattan musozutsu-style pipecase with a lacquer design of a Noh actor in the role of the Inari Rice Goddess in the play Kojaki. In the story the goddess appears at the side of Munechika and assists him in forging a sword blade for the Emperor Ichijo.
